A request

Last Thursday i was asked to make 3 cards for someone who was expecting her fourth and the person who made the request wanted to give to each of the siblings to this newest arrival.


This lady that was expecting her 4th has 2 girls and a boy so this one was made for her little guy ----this customer asked that i use CCD stamps so here is what i came up with
These images are also by CCdesigns.
When she came to pay for them i told her to give the money to family in need in her church .

WEARING BLUE FOR AUTISM and Hope you are enjoyin this BEAUTIFUL DAY!!

I was asked to come teach a cardmaking class a couple months ago and the person hosting the class asked me to use this specific image----So since the class was in April(Autism Awareness Month) i thought to add blue in some way one of the many colors for autism .It is what i will be doing for the month of April add in small or large ways something to do with Autism.so when these flat backs came in i thought to add them. She has been wcolored with Tombow Markers ,paintbrush,distilled water.

The patterned paper Is BoBunny and the Flowers are Prima.The Brads are by The Paper Studio.

I used my white Inkssentials Pen for the spots on her tummy.

Since the colors used are Pastellish well then i tried to make the card light BUT i am a dark colorer so when i used pastel colors they still turned out dark.

anyways this image is by CCDesigns and i plan to add a Sentiment by Myself----Enjoy Life's simple Moments!

Something To "DIE" For

I used a new CCDesigns Pixie to make a card for my Sis-IN-Law!! She is a nurse and i have to say she is the best!!She always thinks of others and so when i saw this pixie i saw it as very fitting!!IDecided to use my nesties---i first used one smaller to create the frame and then again the next size up one and embossed it too.I used the tombow Markers as my wcolour medium. I have some spacers in the store and everything used on my card is available for sale right now!!
For the spots i used my inkssentials white gel pen (which i LOVE) .The flowers are by Prima the E-Line.

The sentiment is by Hero Arts.The Patterend Paper is October Afternoon.

Hark the Heral Angels Sing....Glory to the New Born King!!

Well i must say i was itching to have a card for my shelf with this set and i found it proved to make a rather large card and a little more challenging but since its a ccdesigns it's still a favorite. The Patterned Paper is WRMKeepers ,the cardstock is Bazill Bling,the brads are Wassaill basic Grey the rhinestones are Kaiserscrapbook and the flowers are the hydrangeas are Prima.

I stamped the Angel Emmas(i have 1 set left) on 90Lb hot press wcolor paper .I then used my tombows ,a paintbrush and distilled water.On the gown i used light blues and light and dark greys for shading and the sashes a very medium teal blue

I stamped the sentiment on and 3d'd the middle angel and sentiment and i kept her pretty.I added some stickles to the wings and the trumpet,harp ,sashes and Halos!!

WOWEEEEE...HUMBLED I AM!!!

I went to Post office to see what was new that was arriving and i recieved mail that was for me.
And this is what i got.I was soooo humbled and my hubby could not believe the WORK that went into this So my dear friend who gives things ever so cheerfully and sooo unselfishly.....what an honour ....i was touched and after a somewhat sad week i can honestly say this has brightened my day. I cannot believe the amount of work that went into this and i cannot wait to hang this on my wall.Again I LOVE it and thank you sooooo sooo much!!

Look at the detail folks Isn't this beautiful.This lady does not have a blog but if you were to see her work you'd be in awe.

Sparkly & Bright

I had this one done for awhile and since my kiddos have been sick i have done a bit of coloring. The only day i was truly open last week was Friday( didn't want anyone sick) so it actually gave me sometime to put the cards together.You ever do that have the image together for a while before you actually get it put onto a card well elijah and i stayed home from church tonight he has a wicked coupy cough so before my week gets busy here is my post.

This is a november christmas pixie by CC Designs and with my special it has been flying off the shelves but without it does well no matter what because who doesn't enjoy CC Designs. I know i LOOOOOVE them!!

I downloaded this cute ornament template off of someone's website and was amazed at how awesome and simple it was to make this card. I watercolored the pixie trying to shade bringing the light on her hair and your right side.She was lots of fun.I embossed the ornament using my Cuttlebug and Cuttlebug Swirls Divine Folder only on one side so i can write on the inside.I added stickles and rhinestones to the image and card.

Just the card this time!!

Kids still not a 100% make this just a simple showing.
I wasn't fussy about this card however i left it for now i must say i love her alot.She is CC Designs.

Do Not OPEN ''till December 25th!!

A really quick post i have a family that is very very sick with the flu....the clincher is the on again off again fever.The thing is ,that flu isn't consistent one day the kids are acting like they could climb a mountain the next totally lethargic and if i wasn't sick along with them i'd truly question how sick they really are.I have been getting little sleep but alot of coloring done. OK this is another ccd cutie...hope you like it.It is watercolored in my most favorite way and i do truly looove the pine tree shapeability by spellbinders.I didn't think it was as flexible as it truly is.I LOVE IT!!!

Its a simple card for today...i hope your week is well and everyone well in your home.Oh by the way i used the buckle is from the hodgepodge hardware by stampin up and it took me a bit to find someone who still sells stampin up but here she is her website:www.cindypiggot.stampingup.net .She sells strictly stampin up so if you need to get some of those items i have been using look her up.

Sparkly & Bright!!

Another image from a sneak peak of what is coming.Trevor is so sweet here and i guess i could have added the tree.I used scraps of bobunny patterned paper and 3 stampin up punches 2 different star sizes and the leaf die for the mantle look.By the time i was done i wasn't too fussy about my mantle look that the ornaments are hanging off of.I do have a sizzix ornament (compatible w both my cuttlebug and bigshot machines)however it has been lent out so i ended using the stars on their own. As you may have guessed i wcolored the image with OMSpirits and wcpencilcrayons.The sentiment & hanging ornaments are also by ccdesigns.

Then i layered,3d'd, added glossy and stickle accents and embossed the stars using my cuttlebug and swirl divine folder ( matches the ornaments)and added some embellishments.

A Hair-Raising Experience and SALE!!!!

These cuties are new by CCDesigns.I actually had so much fun using this cutie that it was "hair-raising".But tell me isn't she the sweetest thing ever .Her name....Fidget Goblinspider!! I really love my top note die by Stampin' Up. I also cut out some circle and scalloped nesties and used my best-ever embossing pad by Scribbles and Scraps (in Sarnia)(best $10 dollars ever spent).I used my favorite colors when making this card.It will go to a very sweet friend who is sewing up a storm for me.....she makes these most amazing purses and she is making me 2 ,one for each of my girls.This mother that is making these purses sells them like crazy right about this time of year.I got my order in early...yeahhhh...i can't wait to see the look on the girl's face when they get them.Generally she makes them for adults and teens but my girls loooove purses sooo much that my pre-teen will be getting one too.

So i stamped fidget up on watercolor paper using black staz-on ink.I colored her using my wc pencilcrayons,oms,and blending stumps.

"BOO" to YOU!!

I totally cased this card so "MUMS"the word..wink*wink*.This image and sentiment are both part of the newest CCD's that have arrived.The patterned paper is MMEye from my 50% off collection.I stampesd this guy on watercolor paper 140Lb. I pulled out my well used watercolor pencil crayons and blending stumps and inked him up with black staz-on ink.

I used my nestabillity set and let me say there is one reason why i love my nestabilities and thats because i have the most awesome embossing mat ever.It is the best around better than dare i say it spellbinders' mat.And i happy to let you know i got it from Scribbles and Scraps!! They are located in sarnia and i promise you it will be the best $9.99 ever spent.Now you know how there are some GREAT products worth everypenny spent yes well this is one of them.

So Here is the final Look at this card.And i have got to say CCD has done it again in wowing us with their awesome Images!!

Okay i had to show you the new CC designs they are so sweet,shy,and in need of coffee wink*wink*.Also with the sympathy set did well when it arrived app. 2 weeks ago.I have 1 left!!

You are The Pick of The Patch!!

Hi EveryOne Fall is almost here...my FAVORITE time of year. the weather is perfect,the leaves change color,squirrels are scurring about carrying chestnuts in their mouths preparing for their long journey of winter.However yesterday i went for a walk with my husband and we stepped out and it was so warm that he said weren't we supposed to have this weather when the kids were home in August....yeah now they are in school and i cannot take them to the beach...perhaps the weekend.This cutie is CCD and should be arriving soon. I wanted a deeper red for the wagon and if i added more color to her she would have been darker.i stamped were with black staz-on ink....pulled out prismas and OMS and blending stumps and colored her up.For this technique you also need a sanding block to sharpen and get access color off the blending stump before changing over to another color.You can get them anywhere and stampin up sells them in twos for under $5.So you can find your local demonstrator for them.

I used my scrap paper and it feels empty yet simple so i left her the way she was. Inside it says "You are the Pick of the Patch" also arriving from CCD.I just happened to borrow this from a friend....thanks friend.I added glossy accents to the wagon,wheels, mary-jane shoes,and head band.And i took my gel white pen and added some accent on the apron and sleeves.For embellishments i added some jewels and prima flowers and red shiny brads.And i edge distressed the corners which is $1.60 at The Townscrapper (ME).

Happy Fall Y'all!!

My absolute most favorite season of all is by far FALL.I love how the colors change...How the weather is the perfect temperature and i am an earthy person.I love Fall better than any other time of year.I love the smell of cooked apples and pears,the pumpkins on doorsteps, and the comfort of a huge sweater to keep you warm. I borrowed this kit from a friend and he is from CCDesigns....I LOVE CCD more than words can express.They have to be my ultimate favorite(next to Humble Pie Stamps,of course) the quality of rubber is phenominal.So i took this cutie and stamped him on 140LB cold press paper by fabriano and OMS and a black Staz-On for ink.I added bats cause hey it gets darker and according to snoopy there are bats in the pumpkin field.

The Patterned paper is my newest BoBunny Paper ,and the cardstock is bazill.I used 2 Martha Stewart punches one the leaf punch and the other the Bat Punch.I will be adding a sentiment "You're The Pick of the Patch" also part of the Autumn Kit released last month by CCD.

As fall sets in we will be saying goodbye and hello to new journeys.Change of season is one way to do this ,scool starting is another as my nieces and nephew start school after labour day my kids will be starting school September 1st!

Another we will be saying goodbye to and starting with a new one will be J .We have one more appointment the we say GoodBye to pathways.J encouraged elijah to use all his right muscles and taught me not to discourage him even with the knowlege of his fatigue that sets in.She started with e as he learnt how to use the stairs without holding on right to riding a bike with training wheels and yes for Elijah This is Huge.

So many had an impact on us whether it was the receptionist who always greeted us with a smiling face or the man who could work his magicin special cases or the janitor who was a constant making sure everything was spic span.

We Love these Ladies.There are 3 more ladies of whom we need to be appreciative to and they worked hard on his Occupational therapy.

We will miss these ladies.They taught me not to fear the unknown with my son and to realize the skies the limit.They were so supportive and truly had e's best interest at heart. So next thursday will be our last drive to Sarnia for these scheduled appointments but as i said we will start with 6-8 more at his school.

And one more.Here is J.She has been EliJah's Speech Pathologist for 4 years and because EliJah is now at the age he can no longer come here on Thursdays,this means we will sadly being say goodbye to someone who has been a huge help to EliJah Language wise.J taught him/me too how to sign as a first method of language.EliJah has started to have many complete words in his vocabulary and we are so blessed to have her as part of our life.We will miss her very much.But as we close this door the school will bring in a speech therapist who can work with EliJah at school.

There are 3 others who will stay on with us but will be coming to the school instead of the vice versa.

So we say good bye to 5 and gain 3 more plus the 3 we keep.Elijah will miss seeing them.
