Merrily,Merrily ,Life is but a Dream!!

This card is made with edwin and sailboat from the sea collection----And i have to say i wasn't sure but i love it now.i used scrappers floss for the rope look across the top and the fish were embellishments that i quickly grabbed out of my stash.....Oh how i hoard. I used watercolor p.crayons and the OMS.
My card was pretty simple it was actually how does i say it to my kids eazy peazy lemon squeezy!!

"ARE WE THERE YET?

My first bike used in Holland was a Tandem Bike at Bep's place.Maarten was at the front and i the short one at the back.He kept asking me if i was peddling( as if ,right) ....of course i was.The next bike we rode was a bike made for 8 people and we used it on this trail to and meanwhile identifying and locating items like an scavenger hunt.there was my sil and bil and Maart and I & we had their 2 and our 2 needless to say it was alot of fun.
This image is an high hopes and i made it for someone who owns a local bike shop in town.He sells amazing quality product and works as best as he can with your budget!!Needless to say high in cost or not he is worth buying from!! He has tandem bikes in his window and got a hoot out of this card and if you pop in you may see this card sitting there on his counter he is awesome and definitely worth giving business to.The best thing he doesn't let you buy it till you are satisfied.He is honest and if he doesn't feel its for you he'll tell ya!!

SCRAPFEST 2009 & SAVE THE DATE 2010!!

Scapfest 2009 was in Kitchener as the previous year ....and it was SUCCESSFUL!!

In the week prior i made things to enhance my display....i bought 5 ott lights which i love, and I had a10x20 thatwas just the right size.I had a 50%off table as per usual and i had tons of specials.

The streamers are from Holland and are a perfect addition to my booth.I had brought 5 ott-lites for extra lighting.It was extremely busy about 2400 came through the doors on Saturday.There were 200 croppers and 500VIP alone for friday night on its own!! We stayed with my cousin and her future husband and we nearly peed ourselves from laughter(literally).It was awesome to meet him and we cannot wait to get together again.Thanks Mary for putting us up and the hamburgs were delicious....they were handy!!

Let There Be a Dance in Your Step and JOY in Your Heart!!

This image is one of my absolute favorites and you can get whats left of them for 50% off in the store.The quality of rubber is out of this world.It is soooo deeply etched...i love it. I knew as soon as i saw this line i would have it.I used my w.c.pencil crayons , OMS , and a large blending stump.
Ihave 3 sizes small,medium, and large.The small is for the finer details,which i used for the hat,the large i used for the dress and the medium i used for the shoes ,bottom skirt,and her knees.

The paper is from Imaginisce's summer cool pack....i added buttons for embellishments.Its a pretty simple card.Oh and i also added glossy accents to the shoes for the wooden efffect.

Well i have 3 kids home from school today...Its a snowday which is great until the squabbling starts.....which has not started yet...thank goodness.I do love my time with them and it seems the weekend comes and goes so fast.

Loving Tilda #2

This is the same image but i cased this card off of splitcoast stampers.I used pastelly colors to match the paper and prima flowers.The brads are the velvet Making Memories brads and i Love them and i have 2 packs left in the store both different colors.The sentiment is Hero Arts.The Image is Magnolia.
I used my nestabillities and some fancy schmancy embellishments.I used glossy accents on the shoes, hat, and rose.The paper is from the Imaginisce summer cool pack.
