Beach Babe!!

This card uses the underwater set by CC Designs.For this time of year in Ontario everyone seems to be at the beaches.I think Mermaid Emma is Just Gorgeous. I Stamped her using Jet Black Staz-On Ink and stamped her up on wc paper 140Lb weight paper.I used my wc pencil crayons and i always start light then add different shades but when watercoloring going light to dark is important. I stamped her colored her and cut her out and added her in the corner.

I added stickles to the body and her hair . I have always imagined mermaids full of glitter yet humble in their beauty.I also added glossy accentsto the bubbles and waist and head band.

I used my smooches green for reef around the rocks.I added flowers in the corner.Inside it says You're Fin-Tastic!!

Bless-FUL Pixies

When i was a little girl i thought God's Angels were like tiny little pixies.That they were cute and sparkly little girls and boys who just fluttered everywhere and had pixie dust in their hair...on their clothes and all over their huge wings. This card is stamped with Black Staz-On....coloured with wc pencilcrayon,OMS,and Blending stumps.I stressed the edges using my edge-destressor( a MUST have in every cardmaker's life).
Once stamped and colored i cut them out and paper-pieced on some vanilla-bean cardstock.

I added prima's and some brads by 7-gypsies,the pattern paper is by KI-Memories,which is on for 50% off right now.I added stickles to her hair outfit and those stinken cute long pixie boots...and especially all over her wings.I then used a white acrylic paint,and a glossy accent for the ponytail and button.

I, 3-D'd the pixie whose name is Swiss Gretel ,by CCDesigns ,the Tree is by HHopes. Then i pulled out my Bible that needs not remind me how important it is to REJOICE in the Lord Always.

My kid's Teachers

Now i didn't get a chance to get them all.But here are a few. EliJah's SK teacher 09'---Mrs Babbit who filled in for Mat leave for Mrs.Mailloux.They were both amazing with EliJah.

Catrina with Mrs.Mac Lachlan who will retire this year.She also taught my oldest and doesn't seem old enough to be retiring.

And Mme. Kerlovich---Catrina's French Teacher....Catrina absolutely adores madame and sayd french is one of her favorite classes.

You Rock!!

Today i finally put together another card for one of our teachers.Its a favorite for many reasons.
Its named after my daughter Catrina ,Literally and she takes Vocal lessons every Tuesday.This is so her to right down to the bling.She loves sparkly things,loves fashion, and she loves to sing her heart out. These 2 stamps are from High Hopes.I stamped her on 140Lb wc Fabriano Paper.Then i used my trusty Nestabillities which i now love because of my new hassle free embossing one step mat.
I added some prima kisses,stickles, and guitar embellishments.Which are well loved.

I colored her with wc pencil crayons as well as OMS and blending stump. I actually did not have that easy of a time making this card "WHY" you may ask because i colored it first before i picked out my patterm papers.Big Mistake.But oh well its simple .And i Love Simple.

MOTIVET!!

Motivet is a company i now carry and thanks Stephanie for the wondeful images!! We are so lucky to carry these lovely images.

Today's card is made using Dexter.He is soooo stinken cute.
First i stamped him on 140Lb watercolor paper....my fave ever.
Then i got out my KOI self moistening art brush i sell the medium one,i also got out my peerless inks and started coloring.
I pulled out my octagon and circle nesties ....added some stars and voila the card was Eazy Peazy Lemon Sqeazy.
I then 3d'd the octagon onto the my new WRMK paper MVP Jordan.

And it will be perfect to give some one who is a Most Vonderful Person!! There is someone who comes to visit me and she is so sweet...**WAVING** Hi Gloria!!

Sometimes she needs to be told what a "vonderful" person she really truly is.

Just Beeee-Cuz!!

I love giving cards just because and no other reason so when i saw this bumble bee i knew it would quickly become one of my favorites.It is a third bugg a boo from CC designs all coming together in one package.

I used my cuttlebug w nestabillities,glossy accents as a glue and a a gloss for the body,sticckles for the body .I water colored it with handy dandy wc pencil crayons and OMS and the paper is from WRMKeepers.
