Sweet Pixie!!

In this card i used 3 images,The tree is High Hopes,The Pixie is CCDesigns and The sentiment is Hero Arts. The color medium i used is Copics on perfect paper panels from My Favorite Things.I made a similar card a while back using OMS .These pixies are soooo stinken cute. The paper is by October Afternoon and the cardstock is bazill.I added some gems that you can buy at WAL-MART. Its pretty basic.Now everytime i make a card i notice what i can do better and perhaps next time i may not add so many white strokes,But However the camera is forgiving.

Since i like bright things i tried to make this card bright!!

Bundle of Joy!!

This card was made for my new nephew.He was almost 9lbs and came right on time. I kept it simple...pulled out an old cuttlebug folder,used my copics and one of the most recent CCD sets.its one of my faves.Again it is kept very simple.Iwatched a hair coloring tutorial and am still trying to get the hang of it.This set is called"Oh Baby"!!It is sooo cute the image and the artist does amazing work.

A"Bunch" of LUV 4 U!!

I made this card using one of my favorite magnolia images however it was a bit challenging.It was made for one of the teachers at the school however i cannot remember who got it.



She was watercolored and very simply of course.
I stamped her on Black staz-on ink and using wc paper.I used wc pencil crayons for the medium and the blending &OMS.The paper is delight which is 50% off right now.

Holiday Cards!!

Holiday Card#2!! This is an Hanglar and i recieved this from a friend who has remained unnamed.Because once you find out you'll be asking for them,thats how sweet these are.I pulled out my copics and tried my best to do honor to the tutorials i have been watching online. This is the first time i have used my large snowflake die.I got it from Kim but if you live closer you can get them from Amy who also sells stampin up, and ain't it just lovely.I am soooo happy i have it.I stamped this little cutie in tuxedo Black ink on my favorite "Pretty Paper Panels"copic paper.This paper comes in packs and i have 3 of them left. And of course i used my acrylic ultra-fine paint pen for the cheeks and other areas to give more dimension.If you are interested in any info on stampin up i can direct you just drop me a note. Its a long Holiday Weekend here in Ontario Canada and so it'll be nice to relax.Just a word... I Am Open 9-1 on the Civic Monday!!

To My Beautiful Friend!!

Okay so todays post is added to a previous post...why you ask well i added an accent to the cheeks on the junebug fairy (below) and i used an acrylic white paint and an old stylus to apply it well i no longer need to do this i just went in search of a white gel pen and came up with this.I found it at Micheal's and used my 50% off coupon and paid only $3 for it.It is a paint pen and as you can see at the end it tells what kind of tip is on it i picked ultrafine but you can get them from calligraphy to thick to medium to fine and to ultra-fine.This is currently my favorite pen ever. I would say that this is a must have in every cardmaker's life.

I can think of sooooo many friends i want to give this to and i have someone in mind.She lost her cousin to cancer and what a mean fight he fought and i wasn't here when it happened.This stamp set comes as a set of 2 Junebug Fairies and sentiments and accesories.My middle girl and I will be watching more tutorials online to learn how to use the copics.The hardest part for me is trying to find out where the light comes in on the image. So i stamped her using my tuxedo black memento ink pad,and i colored her with copics.I kept this card very simple.The cardstock is Bazill and the Patterned Paper is by October Afternoon.I used my square nestabillities as well as my scalloped square nestabillity for the first time.my card is 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 and it should have been 6x6 . I really had to squeeze in that sentiment.I also edged distressed the edges of the OA pattern paper.
I added stickles , glossy accents,and acrylic paint for the cheeks...put some gems and buttons down and since I am a simple person I left it this way.
