Guard your BANANA!!

Have you ever sent your kids to school with bananas that started out yellow and before the lunch break they are bruised or parts of the banana is/was mushy...today i helped out in a classroom and the little child asked me if she could throw it out because the banana was "squishy" i told her to eat to the part that wasn't squishy then she could throw it out.It comes in various colors including red, but mostly yellow and sells for $6.98.Three cases arrived today but as already stated one case is already sold out.These hold any size banana and are garanteed to work.We have 1 in our home and my 2 kids that eat bananas fight over who will get to use it today.Banana Guards will be one of the best items for your kid's lunches,or for camping /hiking,or to stick in a briefcase/purse for a quick snack at work.My husband loves it for work he says its great to have something quick and healthy.I like it because i don't have to worry about the banana making it to the garbage or my freezer because its too brown to eat.

On top of everything else this product is CANADIAN.The person who came up with this awesome product is from British Colombia!! I am proud to be canadian and to sell great canadian products

Out with the Old, IN with the NEW!!

There are companies i may be slowly weening off of not because they weren't great companies but because they are accessible everywhere now.

Whipper Snapper,Artful Stamper,Hanna & Riley,& MFT are the 4 companies stamps wise i no longer will carry.

In with the New.....I am working on HUMBLE PIE IMAGES(ME) and 1 other surprise company i am sure that these 2 companies will sweep you off your feet.

I lOVE Both these companies and i am sure you will too.I am Hoping these will be available by the end of september beginning of OCTOBER. So Keep Posted.

You are The Pick of The Patch!!

Hi EveryOne Fall is almost here...my FAVORITE time of year. the weather is perfect,the leaves change color,squirrels are scurring about carrying chestnuts in their mouths preparing for their long journey of winter.However yesterday i went for a walk with my husband and we stepped out and it was so warm that he said weren't we supposed to have this weather when the kids were home in August....yeah now they are in school and i cannot take them to the beach...perhaps the weekend.This cutie is CCD and should be arriving soon. I wanted a deeper red for the wagon and if i added more color to her she would have been darker.i stamped were with black staz-on ink....pulled out prismas and OMS and blending stumps and colored her up.For this technique you also need a sanding block to sharpen and get access color off the blending stump before changing over to another color.You can get them anywhere and stampin up sells them in twos for under $5.So you can find your local demonstrator for them.

I used my scrap paper and it feels empty yet simple so i left her the way she was. Inside it says "You are the Pick of the Patch" also arriving from CCD.I just happened to borrow this from a friend....thanks friend.I added glossy accents to the wagon,wheels, mary-jane shoes,and head band.And i took my gel white pen and added some accent on the apron and sleeves.For embellishments i added some jewels and prima flowers and red shiny brads.And i edge distressed the corners which is $1.60 at The Townscrapper (ME).

3rd Humble Pie Blog Hop!!

I inked this guy up on Neenah cardstock and used some of my NEW BoBunny paper.Dusty is one of My Faves.
I used my Copics which I am still getting used to.i don't mind them actually but hands down i like my watercoloring better.I used my cuttlebug skull that someone gave me and although to be honest i am not a Halloween fan it seemed to go.


This stamp is perfect for a teachers card for the beginning of the year but also i used this cutie for a card i gave my son when he was sick last week.Really who doesn't need a teddy bear HuG when they are sick!!
