Something To "DIE" For

I used a new CCDesigns Pixie to make a card for my Sis-IN-Law!! She is a nurse and i have to say she is the best!!She always thinks of others and so when i saw this pixie i saw it as very fitting!!IDecided to use my nesties---i first used one smaller to create the frame and then again the next size up one and embossed it too.I used the tombow Markers as my wcolour medium. I have some spacers in the store and everything used on my card is available for sale right now!!
For the spots i used my inkssentials white gel pen (which i LOVE) .The flowers are by Prima the E-Line.

The sentiment is by Hero Arts. The Patterend Paper is October Afternoon.

I hope you all enjoy Family Day tomorrow and Happy Valentines Day!!

Sending Hugs to Those Who Need One!!!

There is always someone who needs a HUG am i right or am i right. When my kiddies go and come home from school i get hugs----the one that when they leave are called rushed hugs in our house but when they come home they are the best because they are the most intense hugs. Each hug has a story--- I had a long day, trouble with a friend ,i need to talk to you,i had a GREAT day,or just that they missed me ( and I just missed them) is the hug i look forward to.Before they leave the hugs are meant so they can have a great day and that i am thinking of them or that i will miss them.A Hug will make everything better bad or good!I have a friend who i don't see very often who gives the most amazing HUGS!! This little guy was stamped on wcolor paper 140Lbs and i used tombows to color the picture.
The stamp is Hanglar---wish i owned some (truth be told i have 2).The sentiment is Hero Arts(my favorite sentiment EVER).
I had the light coming right down the center of this image. If you look closely you will see where i errored but the best thing about errors is that you can learn from them.
I really had full intention of using real fishing string and red bopper but i had to improvise and i found this bead,
The paper is October Afternoon, the brads i'm not sure but they are old and i used my wedge distressor.I pulled out my inkssentials white gel pen and added some pimples to the cheeks etc.
Hope you have A GREAT day
And for many of you who get to enjoy this beautiful snow ENJOY!!

Happy Birthday !!!

The Sentiment--Humble Pie
The Stamp --Hanglar
This is another image stamped out for me by the most amazing sweet person Maria.I made this card for a friend in town who turned mmmhmm 50 and guess what she looks phenominal and today is her birthday...i suggested she celebrate big and close up shop but instead she said she will be sewing together an outfit for her newest great niece.

The Pattern Paper is Imaginicse
The Cardstock is Bazill

The butterfly is a Die that i got from Stampin Up and i cut out 2 colors that would be matching to the ones in the Patterned Paper an i ran it throught the cuttlebug using the Swirl Divine Folder...then using my ProGlue Glider i laid down the butterfly and only glued down the center of the yellow butterfly then attached the 2 butterflies with a brad but really what i should 've done is pierced right through the paper before 3'ding it down...but i did think of the butterflies later. That part in the cornerwas bare so iadded 2 heart brads.

For a Coloring Medium i used TombowMarkers trying to leave shade in all the right places.I pulled out my Inkssentials White Gel Pen and put some lines in.I also added some stickles to the bows in her braid and I edge-distressed the cardstock a bit.
Hope you have a Good Day,
Lots of Hugs
