Hope your Holidays are TOASTY!!

I can hardly wait to post this.I am planning to enter this into KK challenge.

AnyHoo I was dying to finish off some of that scrap paper in my bin and so, this We R Memory Keepers paper (it was the only piece left) was begging me to be used so i said to myself how creative can i be.I did my best to make this festive by using tombow markers that were holiday colors.I mean can we make almost any color of marker festive.....SURE we can. I stamped this guy on Hot-Press 90Lb wcolor frosted paper.I used Black Staz-On Ink,a paintbrush and distilled water.

I used glossy accents for the inside of the ears and the nose...I added stickle to the flame and on the bottom of the toasted marshmallow....festive right?Of Course!!The brads and flowers are by Prima and i used kaiserscrapbooking Rhinestones....I used things that all went together that were all part of my stash....I have a serious bad habit wanting to use new stuff. The buttons are by the Paper Studio. Also part of my stash.

The marshmallow was to me the most important part...it needed to look toasty i used very careful delicate colors...i am pleased with how it turned out.Well i do wish you All a very festive ,warm, and "TOASTY" Holiday!!
By the way toasty is the sentiment that you will get with this cutie.

Have a GREAT Day!!

Happy Birthday "DEER" Friend!!

Another Kraftin Kimmie Card!!As I pulled this stamp with the excuse that i needed cards with these cuties .My goal was to use paper without cutting into new sheets....VERY hard for me to do.I wcolored this deer with tombow markers,a paintbrush and Distilled water.I inked my image using Black Staz-On Ink and stamped the image on 90Lb hot press wcolor frosted paper.

I used primas---hydrangeas....brads by paper studio and believe it or not absolutely no glitter but i did add some self-adhesived rhinestones by Kaiserscrapbook. This was a very fast yet simple card.I had absolute intentions of 3ding the actual image but i was watching a movie and cardmaking at the same time and i kafafalled.I was so dissappointed with myself....keep posted for a 4th Kraftin' Kimmie which also can be bought here at the TownScrapper!

Have a GREAT Day!!

Furever Friends!

Friendship is a delicate thing to mesh.....through the years you come to find out how easily pleased you are.I am the type who likes an upfront honest relationship.I like it when someone can just say it without fear and with kindness and who can accept that back with laughter.I have a friend who is very much gentle yet forthright. And through time she has become a very dear friend.Through the years i have had friendships that consisted of goofiness, laughter, and great times and even if we do not see each other due to distance etc they are full of fond memories. And i do love my friends and try not to take them for granted. I have had friends right there with each other through thick and thin( and i mean thick cause i am most definitely not thin) and sometimes we were an odd couple. And even our husbands are friends we will be forever friends with. These are wonderful growing relationships. My most growing relationship has been with God and this more with time. And with time i grow in a knowledgeable way.

I colored these cuties with wcolor Tombow markers, using distilled water,a paintbrush, and 90lb frosted hot press wcolor paper .I inked it up using black staz-On ink.I used my lighting coming in from the right side. This is another of Kraftin Kimmies's first release. This stamp is named Roxy and Bernice. I am trying to use stamps that have recieved great review but that I have no cards of.So I will have 2 more for you that are of KK's Stamps.

The patterned paper is Pebbles Inc. The cardstock bazill orange sherbert bling. The Brads are Spare Parts by the Paper studio and flowers are Prima Sugar Daisy. The metal flower is from my stash.I also added stickles to the flower that that Bernice is holding.

Have a GREAT Week,

Phebe

Dog-Gone Cute!!

This is an image by Crissy and isn,t he sooo sweet this is a card for a niece who celebrates her 9th birthday tomorrow. Isn't she sweet.I had so much fun making this card.My Niece loves furry things so i hope she will like this cutie. And so happy birthday to my niece!! And so i watercolored this image with tombow markers using 90Lb hot press watercolor paper.I also used Bazill cardstock for the base and the patterned paper is bobunny and that small strip coming across is We R Memory Keepers. The flowers are Bazill.and everything you see her i got from The TownScrapper located here in Petrolia.Today The Townscrapper is Open extended hours till 5 pm.And my special is Buy One Get A second for equal or lesser value of 50% off!!
On the flower i used stickles and glossy accents for the center.I stamped the center twice and cut it out and layed it down so it looked 3'D.The collar has stickles on it as well as the heart has glossy accents also.

I made the light coming in from the right side. This pic is not the greatest. Sorry for that.
Ok Well have a Great Weekend!!Make sure to stop in and get some of these Kraftin Kimmie stamps.

Norma Fickel

Whiff of Joy is known for their awesome stamps but have you see her latest artist here is a card i made using Tombows. Now i did really Looove this sweetie and within the 1st couple of days of them coming in they really sold fast.I had all of her newest images except for one and people were driving in just for these sweeties.Inside of this card i used an all time favorite sentiment "I played my best for him pa rum pa pum pum" and i love this cards turned out.
When i brought this cutie in believe it or not it was the kitty that sold me....

These are in with the whiff of Joy mouse that i also only have 3 styles of in. I added some primas, sparkly brads and some scrap Bobunny paper and of course bazill Cardstock. And i decided to use my nestabillities with the most awesome embossing $10 pad (best ever) that i bought from scribbles and scraps.Gotta say when something is good its good and i am sure for those of you that have one you would most definitely agree. And of course i used my smooches where i could ...these are fantastic for accenting. And oh my goodness NO stickles but oh boy i had the itch for bling.

AnyHoo

Have a Happy-ThanksGiving to you from the States.

And have a GREAT day,

Phebe

Happy Birthday !!!

This a card i made with a birthday thought in mind.Everything used on this card is older however the paper is new as of last thursday and i cannot believe this but it has flown off the shelf. This company is called "We R Memory Keepers" and i love this line its absolutely one of my faves. I used an old technique that i haven't used in a while and thats watercolor markers(tombows),a #2 paintbrush, and distilled water. Of course i used the 140Lb wc paper to stamp on with black Staz-on.

Then i pulled out my sizzix dual heart die, and put it through my cuttlebug then i used my cuttlebug swiss dot folder. The cardstock is a red wine bling Bazill. I pulled out my scrap green cardstock and edge distressed all the edges and i love this technique.
For embellishments the flowers are from my stash, the brads are Spare Parts by The Paper Studio.Later i added Glossy Accents to the hearts to give it demension and sticles for the bowin hair, wings ,socks, and on the yellow on her dress.

If this doesn't work out as a birthday card perhaps i can give it as a christmas or valentine card. Its a simple card yet it took me till 2 am to put it together.
Have A Great Day!!

Sparkly & Bright

I had this one done for awhile and since my kiddos have been sick i have done a bit of coloring. The only day i was truly open last week was Friday( didn't want anyone sick) so it actually gave me sometime to put the cards together. You ever do that have the image together for a while before you actually get it put onto a card well elijah and i stayed home from church tonight he has a wicked coupy cough so before my week gets busy here is my post.

This is a november christmas pixie by CC Designs and with my special it has been flying off the shelves but without it does well no matter what because who doesn't enjoy CC Designs. I know i LOOOOOVE them!!

I downloaded this cute ornament template off of someone's website and was amazed at how awesome and simple it was to make this card. I watercolored the pixie trying to shade bringing the light on her hair and your right side. She was lots of fun.I embossed the ornament using my Cuttlebug and Cuttlebug Swirls Divine Folder only on one side so i can write on the inside.I added stickles and rhinestones to the image and card.

Have a GREAT day,

God Bless,

Phebe

Another Friday Challenge

Another friday challenge from our Humble Pie DiVA Kim B.Well i wasn't going to go to my event in Sarnia....My kids being sick has really worn me out. This flubug thats going around is a doozy. AnyHoo....i did and i was amazed by the awesome response to the Humble Pie stamps. And the people were so excited about me being there that they have asked me back for next year!!So here is the challenge. Thanks Kim it was fun.I used my Copics because i printed the image off but i found out from another tricia that you can in fact wcolor with prismas without much fail so i cannot wait to try it. Now i gave my corner rounder to an EA to keep. I kept thinking i hadn't used it in awhile and i probably didn't need it and she was doing it by hand ick.....So i did mine by hand as if you can't tell but i am about to buy one for myself AGAIN!!

Well look at the inconsistency in my corners ...i am so proud...nahh but i did enjoy making this card. For one thing i LOOOOOVE the stamp but for another the challenge was awesome!!Thanks Kim.
I lent out my quikutz christmas lights but if i had them at the time i would have done a string of lights straight across!!As soon as these stamps arrive i will let you all know!!
Hope you All Have a Great weekend,

Do Not OPEN ''till December 25th!!

A really quick post i have a family that is very very sick with the flu....the clincher is the on again off again fever. The thing is ,that flu isn't consistent one day the kids are acting like they could climb a mountain the next totally lethargic and if i wasn't sick along with them i'd truly question how sick they really are.I have been getting little sleep but alot of coloring done. OK this is another ccd cutie...hope you like it.It is watercolored in my most favorite way and i do truly looove the pine tree shapeability by spellbinders.I didn't think it was as flexible as it truly is.I LOVE IT!!!
Its a simple card for today...i hope your week is well and everyone well in your home.Oh by the way i used the buckle is from the hodgepodge hardware by stampin up and it took me a bit to find someone who still sells stampin up but here she is her website:www.cindypiggot.stampingup.net .She sells strictly stampin up so if you need to get some of those items i have been using look her up.
Have a GREAT week/end

Sparkly & Bright!!

Another image from a sneak peak of what is coming.Trevor is so sweet here and i guess i could have added the tree.I used scraps of bobunny patterned paper and 3 stampin up punches 2 different star sizes and the leaf die for the mantle look.By the time i was done i wasn't too fussy about my mantle look that the ornaments are hanging off of.I do have a sizzix ornament (compatible w both my cuttlebug and bigshot machines)however it has been lent out so i ended using the stars on their own. As you may have guessed i wcolored the image with OMSpirits and wcpencilcrayons. The sentiment & hanging ornaments are also by ccdesigns.
Then i layered,3d'd, added glossy and stickle accents and embossed the stars using my cuttlebug and swirl divine folder ( matches the ornaments)and added some embellishments.
Hope you have a GREAT week!!

Warm Winter Wishes

I really cannot wait until the humble pie images arrive.....until then i am playing with my ccd holiday kit.I took a big chance on this card because I used alot of different techniques i don't normally use.My kids weren't well today and now i can feel a headache coming on. The bench,Emma, tree, and sentiment are all CC Designs and the dog (a favorite) is High Hopes.
So i stamped up the trees on 140Lb wcolor paper and then added the bench ,dog, and Emma later.I watercolored the images using OMS,and blending stumps as well black staz-on ink.
I pulled out my paper piercing mat which i called someone to see if i could link her up this is from Stampin UP and my fiskars blade and cut out the long slats in the bench and the small part in between her boots.
Then I glued the bench down using my trusty GlueGlider Pro and I 3d'd Emma holding hot chocolate mug and I 3d'd the dog.I used my nestabillity with the best ever embossing mat from Scribbles & Scraps (in sarnia) for the sentiment. The papers are a variety....140Lb wc paper,We R Memory Keepers patterned paper as well as "tis the season patterned paper" by BoBunny, and the rest is by Bazill. The flowers are Prima and only for $3.45...the brads are Basic Grey and the rhinestones are by Kaiser.I also added stickles as an accent as well I added glossy accents to the nose and collar on the dog .I will have to find a SU Demonstrator link and get back to you tomorrow.
Hope you enjoyed this as much as i did putting this together.

A Hair-Raising Experience and SALE!!!!

These cuties are new by CCDesigns.I actually had so much fun using this cutie that it was "hair-raising".But tell me isn't she the sweetest thing ever .Her name....Fidget Goblinspider!! I really love my top note die by Stampin' Up. I also cut out some circle and scalloped nesties and used my best-ever embossing pad by Scribbles and Scraps (in Sarnia)(best $10 dollars ever spent).I used my favorite colors when making this card.It will go to a very sweet friend who is sewing up a storm for me.....she makes these most amazing purses and she is making me 2 ,one for each of my girls. This mother that is making these purses sells them like crazy right about this time of year.I got my order in early...yeahhhh...i can't wait to see the look on the girl's face when they get them.Generally she makes them for adults and teens but my girls loooove purses sooo much that my pre-teen will be getting one too.

So i stamped fidget up on watercolor paper using black staz-on ink.I colored her using my wc pencilcrayons, oms, and blending stumps.
She was so much fun.I also want everyone to know my sale starts this Wednesday EVERYTHING is buy 1 get the 2nd of EQUAL or LESSER value for 50% off!!
Have a GREAT Week!!

CCD christmas kit

I had so much playing with my ccd holiday kit that i had to share. The tree, sentiment, and skiing trevor are each part of the kit.As you can tell i used i stamped the trees on first then i masked the trees and stamped trevor on.Then i stamped trevor again colored him,cut him out and pieced him on.
I colored my image using watercolor pencil crayons , OMSpirits, and my blending stumps.
I used my nestabillities to cut and emboss 2 medium size trees,i also cut out 2 top notes using my top note die by stampin up and used my cuttlebug folder to emboss with the elegant writing. Then i added the embellishments...i pulled out some of my hard to use snowflakes with brads by "Spare Parts".I added stickles and glossy accents to the hat and image.
I 3d'd and glued everything using my 3d foam and i used my pro glu glider for the adhesive which i absolutely love and added "O Christmas Tree".
I love that he is skiiing perfect for the winter wonderland kind of weather.Well i have kids that are sick today so off i go to take care of them!!
Have A GREAT Sunday!!
