A short post. Here is a card i made for my middle girl "Catrina Ballerina"(as we call her)-The picture is bad but the card is simple. The paper again is from the imaginisce line"fairest fo them All". I used watercolor pencil crayons and watercolor markers.Added stickles to the stockings, sash and hair tie.I added glossy accents to the top of rose ,leaves, and hair tie.Final but not least i added some embellishments. Now if i can use my camera right. Have a Good Day and Happy New Year!!

A "Fairy" Good Day!!
Here is another Chrysanthemum Fairy, The artist behind this image is Sophia Landry.Yes you are right it is a fall stamp....however still one of my favorites. So for watercoloring i used my black staz-on ink, watercolor paper and tombow markers.I used 3 individual shades of green .When watercoloring it is important to use water proof ink/permanent ink,and the correct type of paper. It is also important to go from light to dark bringing the colors out.I use a #3 paintbrush and go in circles to bring the colours out.
I already had some paper left over from a card my middle girl asked me to make. The paper is by imaginisce. This paper is by far in my opinion perfect for the latest High hopes release , as i understand the grapevine talk of another company......ohhhh i can't say, pink gems has a denny the dragon , a captain jack, jack with teddy bear & mimi with coat. This paper is called "Fairest of them All ". They are lovely ,embossed ,& full of glitter. AND they are on special right now Buy 1 get 2 free. What A "fairy"good deal. And even better yet buy the ribbon, matching brads and matching flowers and get 40% off!! can't beat that,eh?
The embellishments used were simple i found some brown bazill and used my sizzix flourish die (compatible with cuttlebug) and cut out two of them.I added some floral beads, added some making memory heart brads, prima flower and a brad for the center and of course a heart pewter corner.
Last but not least i glued it all down and 3d'd the main image then added some stickles for the final touch.
Hope you all have a great week and a "fairy" Good Day!!

Skating Mimi
This is Skating Mimi. She comes all the way from the United Kingdom.
This is my very own first Pink Gems Designs (PGD).These are made by Janet Roberts. This little gal's name is Mimi. She is sooo sweet. These Stamps are a Photo Polymer. This means you need to use a pigment ink as well as your basic 140 lb wasau paper, which you can get at wal-mart .So i inked her up with my black archival ink and colored her with an alcohol based marker, Copics.
I added glossy accents to the snow drops , buttons and holly , stickles to the trim of coat hat and skates and leaves and for embellishments i used the Inque Boutique green velvet ribbon, Buttons for the Holly and for the glittery fabric leaves i used heidi grace aren't they awesome.
For the Paper i used Imaginisce's snowed In ,and bazill for the base and I may yet add two green prima flowers.
We left last Night for London to avoid driving in the bad weather and i am glad we did.Because we can't see the roads.
Have a Great Weekend!!

St.Lucian Tilda w Candle
This cute little girl is the St.Lucian Tilda w Candle. I love watercolouring and i used my Tombow markers on her. The sentiment is by cc designs. The brads are Making Memories and the snowflake is cut by a sizzix die used in my cuttlebug. I can't wait i have ordered EXCLUSIVE DIES made for Stampin' Up to be used in the BIG SHOT machine and compatible with the cuttlebug of course. The snowflake i will be getting will be the large one however i may also order the small ones too. Kraftin Kimmie has sells these awesome stampin up products so hop on over to her blog http://kraftinkimmieskorner.blogspot.com/ to get her info.
As you can tell i used glossy accents on her sash, on the candle, and on the tinsel around her head.
I also added some stickles to her dress and some gems and a very suitable sentiment by cc designs then i pop dotted the image and sentiment. The patterened paper is by stampin up and the base is by bazill.

The Swedish Lucia celebration is an annual festival of medieval origin, observed on the 13th of December. On this day, the darkness is brightened by Saint Lucia, a creature of goodness and light who opens the door to the Christmas season.
Named after a Sicilian saint, the Swedish Lucia does not have much in common with her namesake. She is celebrated in a variety of ways, but the most common is the Lucia procession consisting of a group of young girls and boys singing traditional Lucia songs. On her head, the girl or woman playing the part of Lucia wears a wreath of lingonberry sprigs with holders for real candles (battery-powered ones are sometimes a safer option) to give the effect of a halo. She also has a white, full-length gown with a red ribbon around her waist. Her female attendants (tärnor) wear similar gowns and the "star boys" (stjärngossar) wear white pointed hats decorated with stars. Lucia processions are held in various places, ranging from kindergartens and schools to churches and the Swedish Parliament.Lucia can be perceived as a symbol of the good forces in life and a symbol of light in the dark winter. She usually appears early in the morning, bringing coffee and saffron-flavored buns (lussekatter) traditionally eaten around Christmas time in Sweden

Favorite High Hopes Santa
Catrina my middle girl was only too happy to donate her hair to cancer. It was the perfect asked amount.some asked for 10" some ask for 12"...My little girl (not so little) decided for christmas this was what she wanted to do and she was so thrilled to do it sine she has been bugging me for this haircut since September. Her heart was in the right place and since i was having heart faillure over the idea of all her hair being gone i am happy to say she is doing a kind thing to send it away. I asked all 3 of my kids to do something for someone they don't know for christmas and whoever gets her hair she will not know. Love You ballarina!! Oh and Oma if you are seeing this picture she can't wait to show you her hair!! Her sweater by the way states that grumpy rocks and when i woke her up this morning she says to me since you woke me up i am going to wear my sweater and until she came down i didn't know which one she meant. I had to chuckle. My shy girl is sooooo mishievious.
This Has to be one of my most favorite High Hopes stamps ever.Isn't he precious. When i see alot of the Tina's images i enjoy the heart and reality put into it.This is one of the first santas for tina and i just love it!!I enjoyed colouring it as much as i enjoyed making it into a card.
I used watercolour paper, tombow marker, jet black staz-on ink fot the colouring of it.
I used crystal stickles for the trim, prima Flowers for the embellishments as well as dew drops, and also a glossy accent for the boots and as a glue.
Well Have a Great Weekend!!

SinterKlass 2008!!
Aren't these some awesome surprisas. It is alway nice to see the awesome ideas that everyone comes up with.
Sinterklass is a dutch holiday celebrated in the netherlands on dec 5th and in my husband's side this holiday is celebrate every year keeping its natural traditions the same way.
The gift is given in something that symbolizes the person....that is by the way picked out of a hat and kept secret for the rest of the year.Till that day none should know who you have except for your better half.
My father in law had me and my surprisa (gift) came in a large paper coffee cup filled with wrapped gifts.....i had asked for a paper shredder which the gifts were hiding in.It was awesome the cup was approximately 40" in width and 80" in height (not eact...i'm just guessing might be smaller). It was made with yellow cardstock with a gold handle ( his own cup from home was the example used to make this replica of a coffee mug) soooo neat because i love tea. So in the cup the shredded paper was the foam and tea and the gift was hiding in the midst of it and so i had to sift through it to find the gift. Well done papa awesome surprisa !!
