Will you be my Valenswine!!

So I have this HH sentiment and wasn't fussy about what it came with but the sentiment is catchy sooo i brought this so stinken cute magnolia holding a runt that needs some TLC and thought they were perfect with each other.I made this card for my oldest that is an animal lover. I inked this cutie with black-staz-on & stamped it onto glossy ice white 90Lb hot press wcolor paper and pulled out my tombow wc markers, paintbrush, and distilled water.Of course i used 3-4 colors of each family.

I love my white gel inksentials pen----the other companies have dried out but so far so good.I used old patterned paper mixed in with the new bo bunny selections.

For the sentiment i used my oval nesties, added some primas, some gorgeous brads ,and rhinestones with stickles as an accent.I tried to case this from one of Maria's cards and i totally....well i won't finish that sentence wink wink.....Lets just say i did her no justice.

Anyhoo i hope you have a GREAT week and take care.

And P.S.

Its a Great Day to stay indoors and brew up some yummy Hot Chocolate or in my Case~~~ Tea and pull out your scrapbooking and cardmaking supplies and have some fun.

Glad the weekend was a tiny bit warmer. If you have a PA day today enjoy it I know I will.

That windchill factor was something else this past week eh!!

Tutorial on Watercoloring w Tombow Markers

What You Need:
1. A Permanent ink/waterproof---I use Black Staz-on.
2. Distilled room temperatured bottle water.
3. A paint brush---i like a soft tip
4.Paper towel to get excess water off brush.
5.Watercolor Paper
6.Watercolor Tombow markers in 3 shades lightest to darker.

How to Apply it:
1. Stamp up the Image.
2. Figure where you want the light to come in from.
3. I chose the back side
4. Start with your lightest color ,
5. Wet paintbrush and remove excess----you want wet not dripping.
6. Go in circles around the markered areas until its all blended in.
7. Then apply second color 1 step-up in color
8. Take your paint brush or Aqua Painter and wet it againg andgo to the colored area and bring out the color again.

9. And with the 3rd or even 4th all darker than the other a little less each time and bring it out
10. I often take my brush after wetting it and take it to the marker taking color off so that I can control how much color I am getting.

And what you need to be aware of what shouldn't happen.
1. If you have a paint brush that is too wet then it will leave huge water marks on the image and it will be extremely hard to fix.
2. As well this will wash it out.And Lift your paper.

Have a Great Day!!

Appreciated and Loved!!

Look at this gorgeous and stunning card----made by one of our Baking Diva's---Maria
So A quik post----A dear and generous friend stamped these Hanglars out for me,She gave them to me with a gorgeous card and a yummy candle. The above card is what she made me and it is a Magnolia!! These were inked up on fabriano wc 140Lb paper. So i pulled out my tombows ,paintbrush, distilled water and colored my heart out

I used all my scrap papers and did my best to make the colors flow. This card was made for someone i need to take more time to say that she is amazing.I added glossy accents to the bow and heart on dress, stickles to the wings and added up some dots with my white inksentials gel pen.

The paper is by WeRMemory Keepers. The flower die is a yellow original die and worked amazingly in my cuttlebug. All the paper used was from my box of scraps.
When i was done i walked the card over.I was a bit under the weather today but hopefully i will be better tomorrow.

Maggie In Love---Humble Pie Challenge

Well Heather has done it AGAIN!! Such a sweet Image.

So for this week i used my all time Foot-Popping,Madly in Love,"Maggie In Love".The challenge was to use pink, red, white and hearts.....How easy could that be?! And not only that BUT i made them on a tent card which i never had made before. So here they are,I tend to use browns when i use these colors. The patterened Paper is Bo Bunny,I watercolored the image using my Tombow Markers~~One of my favorite mediums by the way.

I used my sizzix yeelow hearts--the came on one die in 2 sizes....then i stuck them through the cuttlebug using my swiss dots folder.
The rhinestones are by Kaiser Kraft.

Hope you enjoyed this challenge.Because i definitely did.AND what i love the most is that i got to use a ton of different techniques....oh and this cutie is soooo sweet.

The Star of the Day!!

3 weeks ago i used a very neglected Tilda.....i love her and believe it or not i was still making festive cards even though the holiday season was done. This year a friend of mine is getting married but as a younger girl she loved stars and at one time did her room up in them.

So when i made this card i was thinking of her.I hope she still has a great love for stars. So i inked this cutie with black staz-on, on wcolor hot press paper . I pulled out my tombows and my paint brush and a bowl of distilled water.

The patterned paper is by Pink Paislee---Bow and Arrow--Cupid line. And I LOVE it.The colors are so vibrant. The border and stars are punches by stampin' up.The embellishments are by the Paper Studio---The sentiment is Hero Arts.
I added glossy accents to the candle and stickles to the head band. The i grabbed my white gel pen by inksentials and dotted up some areas. So i am sending Hugs her way to wish her many blessings in her new year as she prepares for her upcoming wedding.
Hope you all have a Great Weekend,
{{{HUGS}}} to you too.

My Store!! Small and Cozy!!

Before and After pics.... Before ----my goal was to open up the store and get rid of this table and get more light in.
So I had Lambton County Developmental Services make me this.It has shelving on the other side where I put all my die cut machines etc in,Therefore giving you customers more walking space.

I got rid of long shelf that had cardstock on it and do you believe 60 different colors fit on that rack ....awesome.

More walking room.And More Light!!
And i will show you the new Sweetie Pie Maggie very soon
Have a Great Day!!
